About this episode

What happens when you believe in the Eucharist but don't feel much at Mass? Fr. Gregory Pine joins Purposely Catholic to talk about faith, spiritual dryness, and his book Your Eucharistic Identity. We consider how the Eucharist shapes our identity and what it means to keep spending time with the Lord when prayer doesn't come with a strong feeling.

The conversation also reaches into the words we use every day. Fr. Gregory discusses Training the Tongue and the challenge of speaking well when you're quick to anger. Alongside questions about belief and sacramental life, there is time for football and Super Bowl talk. It's a conversation about the place of faith in who we are, how we pray, and how we speak to other people.
