Two Abortions, One Redemption Story w/ January Donovan | Ep. 105
Runtime: 1:11:13
More from Purposely CatholicAbout this episode
What do you do when you keep comparing yourself to other women? For January Donovan, a mentor’s answer was surprisingly practical: pray for them and learn to become their friend. January joins Purposely Catholic to share her return to the Catholic faith after two abortions, and the place Eucharistic adoration and women’s formation had in rebuilding her life.
Faith reaches into the ordinary parts of a day: how we listen, handle our emotions, set boundaries, and care for our families. But what does that look like when you’re caring for a newborn and barely sleeping? January makes room for that season, too. We talk about Mary, the people who help us grow, and how husbands and wives can support each other as they learn. There is real work involved in formation, and it has to fit the life you’re actually living.
