About this episode

Fatherhood can become a set of routines without much reflection on the love behind them. Bobby and Khalil welcome Devin Schadt, co-founder of the Fathers of St. Joseph, to discuss a father's mission and the work of going beyond the motions. Devin also shares his account of encountering Jesus and recognizing personal wounds.

We talk about loving fatherhood, deepening a relationship with God, and learning to trust. The conversation includes The Rule, Devin's book for husbands and fathers. For men thinking about their responsibilities at home, the episode brings those practical concerns together with questions about prayer, personal history, and the challenge of Catholic manhood.
